- Within any rolling 12-month period. If an Etihad Guest member earns the required number of Tier Miles or Tier Segments.
- Within 12 rolling months of the upgrade, the member must earn the required number of Tier Miles or Tier Segments.
- Tier Status is valid for one year from the month of the Tier upgrade, plus an additional two bonus months.
- Applicable only when you attain the Tier and not upon renewal of the Tier.
- The validity of Etihad Guest Miles will be extended by 18 months based on qualifying member activity.
- As part of a family membership, miles can only be redeemed by the member nominated as the Family Head.
- Additional payment option in the booking flow of OpenSeats on etihad.com.
- Gold and Platinum members have access to a contact centre operated 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
- Bonus Etihad Guest Miles are earned on Etihad Airways flights, Virgin Australia flights and Air Serbia flights only.
- Applicable on all Etihad Airways operated flights.
- Bookable in the highest Economy and Business fare. Multi-flyer tickets are not eligible.
- One way from Abu Dhabi International Airport to anywhere in the UAE and vice versa.
- The cost to pay for an Instant Upgrades in miles will be quoted at check-in 3 hours prior to flight departure. This will be a direct conversion of the cash upgrade cost into miles. Instant Upgrades are therefore based on a different mileage calculator.
- Mileage values are subject to change without prior notice, and subject to availability.
- Priority check-in is available for Silver, Gold and Platinum Etihad Guest members. Silver members are eligible to access priority check-in counters in the economy hall at Abu Dhabi airport and business check-in counters at any other airport. Gold and Platinum members can use the premium business check-in counters at any airport, including Abu Dhabi airport. Applicable on Etihad Airways operated flights and with select partner airlines.
- Gold and Platinum Etihad Guest members get Priority Baggage and fast track immigration at selected airports worldwide, excluding Bangkok, Mumbai, Zurich, Vienna, Shanghai and Sydney.
- Priority boarding is available for Gold and Platinum Etihad Guest members flying to and from worldwide airports.
- Silver members are entitled to choose from select Economy seats in our Forward, Middle or Rear zones for free; available for the member only.
- Gold members are entitled to choose from select Economy seats in our Forward, Middle or Rear zones for free; one for the member and one for an additional guest booked on the same reservation.
- Platinum members are entitled to choose any Economy seats in our Forward, Middle or Rear zones for free; one for the member and up to nine additional guests booked on the same reservation.
- Platinum members are entitled to reserve one extra legroom seat for free and at a 50% discount for up to nine additional guests booked on the same reservation. Gold members receive 50% discount for up to two guests and Silver members save 30%.
- Applicable while booking your ticket(s) and through manage my booking; additional charges may apply for requests made through the Etihad Guest Service Centre or at the airport counter.
- The discount will only be applied while booking your ticket(s) and through our Manage my booking feature.
- Members will receive discounts based on their Tier level.

- Access to the lounges at Abu Dhabi International Airport is available only for Etihad Guest members flying on Etihad Airways operated flights. Platinum and Gold members can relax in the First Class and Business Class lounges respectively, while Silver members can access the Etihad Business Class lounge.
- Etihad Guest Gold members travelling in Economy are not eligible to access the U.S. Preclearance lounge or the Arrivals lounge.
- Etihad guest members traveling on codeshare flights, for instance, flights that are marketed by Etihad Airways and operated by other airlines, are not eligible to access Etihad premium lounges.
- Etihad Guest Gold and Platinum members travelling on Etihad Airways operated flights may access our worldwide lounges (excluding skyteam and oneworld lounges).
- The Etihad Guest Miles balance of Etihad Guest Platinum members will not expire as long as the Etihad Guest Platinum Tier Status is maintained. Once a Platinum member is downgraded to the next lower tier, total miles balance validity period will be calculated 18 months from the tier downgrade date.
- Etihad Guest Silver, Gold and Platinum members will be able to enjoy the special discounts on select Individual/Personal Insurance Lines from 15 February 2021 on AL Wathba National Insurance online website: https://awnic.com/individual-insurance
- If you are travelling on a flight that is operated by another airline, you must include your Etihad Guest number when you book to receive the additional benefits of your Tier Status.
- If you're a member of any other programme (for instance ADGOV or UAEGOV), you can take either the baggage allowance that you're entitled to as part of that programme, or the baggage allowance that you're entitled to as an Etihad Guest member. You will not be entitled to both.
- Access will be granted once members present their valid Etihad Guest card or digital card on the Etihad Guest app to security personnel.
